Funny how there always seems to be one person in the family that you never to seem to catch on camera there beautiful smile. Well I am happy to report that one of my elusive members has been caught in the act FINALLY. SOOOOO of course I have to scrap it right!!

These sketch really tugs at my heart strings cause I love the special moment I have managed to capture between a father and son.

So of course it must be shared so a sketch comp it is.

Kraft it up March Challenge!

So after of a bit of slow start to my mojo insiraton for the month I went in search of a sketch with a difference and found much to my excitement the sketch for Kraft It Up - March

I was in search of something to get those creativity juices flowing and something to really set the bar and set the bar it did. I must admit the cogs certainly had to spin for this one BUT, that is what I wanted and I am very happy with what I achieved.

 Kraft paper stock, MME Boys crazy enamel dots, Sawyers place washi tapes, Sawyers place epoxy stickers, Queen and Co washi tape.

March Purple Pumpkin Sketch Competition!

WELL, today marks a HUGE milestone in my scrapbooking journey because not only did I enter yet ANOTHER Purple Pumpkin sketch competion BUT, I also applied for their DT Call. So with baited breath and a count down of 1........2.........3....... on Skype with a friend my application was off into Cyber Space destination, Purple Pumpkin Head Quarters.

Good luck to all the other entrants, whatever happens I know I have achieved something in taking the next step in my scrapbooking journey by merely applying.

Purple Pumpkin January sketch!!

Hope everybody is looking forward to the long weekend. A extra days break for some YAY and its impending Australia Day. So very proud to be be Aussie. SO what do you have planned? Mine will entail a barbie thats for sure and also a swim in our pool.....can't get more Aussie then that right cept for maybe a beer or two.

Well this particular Australian will have to make do with a midori and lemonade or perhaps a cruiser or two. Cause I dont do beer LOL BUT, rest assured the hubby does sooooooooo he will make up for it LOL.

Anyhow, I suppose I share my latest creation. This one is for Purple Pumpkin AGAIN.

Kraft It Up January sketch

SOOOOOO over the holidays I have been creating but with four children in tow plus the occasional extra/s for sleep overs it is a slow process. BUT, I am loving every minute of it. Soooo create but enjoy is the theme so far LOL

Kraft it up requirements were use the color palette of orange, blue, red and white and Kraft paper in your layout. The colors are clear the kraft paper maybe not so much BUT, to give you the run down, Kraft cardstock is the photo matt which I have stamped. The Cog is made of Kraft cardstock, the frame, and also the cute little handmade sandcastle. I love creating this layout!!!
